About 20 cm length, this stick insect has lost one of its legs. When provoked it sways as if blown a breeze (see video)

Habitat:

Bushland, temporarily captive for observation.

This is your most common locl stick insect. Yours will re grow her leg during her next (and final) molt. She will grow tiny non functional wings seen best in this image http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/819...
