This marks the end of my spottings in Bolsa Chica.With the 3 year drought becoming more of a reality ,my heart goes out to the wild life of California.Praying for a miracle!
Bolsa Chica wetlands.
including the crow and house finch which i forgot to upload ,i saw 45/200 species recorded Out of which i photographed about 42. i was eager to see String ray,owls,burrowing and horned and leg less lizards too. could not. The birds which I saw but could not photograph were the turkey vultures,canada geese,yellow rumped warbler,northern harrier.

Sounds wonderful. I'll have to check out the B.C. Ecological Reserve the next time I'm up there.

The Brown pelicans were the highlights. Lovely place. I am sure there is lot more around. Did not have enough time and must have missed some too.Did not get a chance to visit the tidal pools either. i heard fish are so abundant that people scoop them up with their hands instead of nets.
