Anas crecca carolinensis
Duck. Small, very round, white chest with brown spots. Wings are on the stubby side, white at the bottom with gray at the top. Cheek area is lighter brown, dark gray patch covers eye, darker brown on top of head to top of bill. Bill is gray.
Seen at a wetlands preserve.
