Description:

The roses are found in more than 100 species. The roses from the Family Rosacea are the most cultivated flowers in the World. These roses have a strong cultural symbolism in various religions and even in mythology. For example we can cite the romance between Afrodites and Adonis. It is said that when Afrodites tried to save Adonis, she cut herself im the thorns of a white rose becoming thus, red. Student: João Pedro Merlim.
