Polistes sp.
Vespidae; Polistinae; Polistini; Polistes sp. These two pictures were all I managed. When I moved to a better position for a dorsal view, the wasp flew off. Unfortunately, my pictures do not show the stripes on the abdomen or the marks on the thorax well enough to identify the species.
