Hi Livie, the common name is for the name that an organism is usually known by, in this case "Chicken". The scientific name box is for the latin name of the species, in this case Gallus domesticus. If you do not know the scientific name, you can often find it with a google search. Otherwise, please leave that box blank & instead tick "Help me ID this species".
