Description:

Introduced species to New Zealand orignally from Australia. Spotted on side of house about 10.30 at night searching for other spiders to eat. This one is the biggest one I have ever seen.

Habitat:

In the garden and sometimes comes inside the house.

Notes:

White-tailed spiders have a painful bite.
