Description:

This is a young fern plant, about 2 inches tall. Its leaves have a single central vein and are smooth. It is considered primitive and epiphytic.

Habitat:

This small plant was seen growing out of the bark of a tree, about 4 feet off the ground. It was spotted on the outskirts of a tropical rainforest.
