Description:

It is common species in the Himalayas, A medium sized lizard, bluish, greenish grey or brownish in color. Lives in holes and crevices and stone walls. Feeds on ants, butterflies and other insects. Destructive to garden plants as it nips off the buds of flowering plants.

Beautiful lizard and picture Saurabh! It must be used to climbing a lot regarding its habitat. The pose in the first picture is fantastic, I had never seen a lizard opening its legs as wide in order to stand on the rock. Greetings
