Conical yellow capped mushroom, white stem
Woods/mountain (approx1900 ft elevation)
Not that I'm ruling out section Vaginatae, like I said it's very hard to tell without seeing the entire mushroom.
It is an Amanita but I wouldn't put a species name on it without more information. I think it is probably from the section Caesareae (crocea would be from section Vaginatae).
