A Black Cricket ( Nymph )

Description:

This black cricket, had a black head, and a black body. It had two, black, compound eyes, and two, very long antennae. It had six legs. The rear legs are very large, and are used for jumping. On the end of each foot, was a claw. Underneath its body, it was tan in color. There were spines, in the middle of the rear legs, and they were pointed downward. There were four filaments, protruding outwards, from the rear of its body. There were two short filaments, and two long filaments. All six legs, were brown in color. This insect was alive, and able to move.

Habitat:

This black cricket, was found resting, at the bottom of the front steps, on the outside of my house.

Notes:

I went outside at 7:00 a.m. in the morning. I spotted this black cricket, resting on the bottom step, on the outside of my house. This black cricket, had a black head, and a black body.
