Maracujá

Passiflora sp.

Description:

A tipical "pé de maracujá" from Brazil. In this case it is a wild type which is smaller and sweeter than the regular one; which is quite bigger, with more juice and a bit more sour. There are different kinds of passiflora, I cannot say exactly which type this is but it is identified as a wild passiflora type; not the one regularly used in juice, mousses and ice-creams.
