Persian Walnut tree

Description:

There are other large walnut trees in the area but these two are more bushy and obviously wild. The fruit/nuts were all out of reach, presumably the rest had already been picked, so we could not examine them! Also called English Walnut, Common Walnut, European Walnut. Originated from temperate Asia.

Habitat:

Growing wild in a hedgerow.
