Fungus Eating Ladybird

About 5mm long with bright yellow with black markings.

Habitat:

Adults and larvae feed on fungus and black mould on leaves

Notes:

Non-native species in New Zealand of Australian origin. There are about 40 ladybird species in New Zealand, more than half of them are native.
