Alligator mississippiensis
Hello. This is a crocodile. If you look on the lower jaw and count to the fourth tooth from the end of the snout, it stands up very prominently and exposed. That is a dead giveaway. To compare to a juvenile alligator, look here http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/102... or here http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/876... I don't know which species it is as it is a captive. Perhaps it is an American crocodile, Crocodylus acutus see here http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/895... but I don't know. Cheers
Gorgeous picture! Alligators have the most beautiful eyes.
