Nursery Web Spider

Pisauridae Family

Description:

The Nursery Web Spider also known as Fishing Spider are spiders of the family Pisauridae. They resemble wolf spiders (family Lycosidae), but they carry their egg sacs by means of their jaws and pedipalps (instead of attaching them to their spinnerets). When the eggs are about to hatch, a mother spider will build a nursery "tent", put her egg sac inside, and mount guard outside.

Habitat:

Rivers, Tropical Rainforest

Notes:

This Spider falled into my little cousin´s Shirt, so he was pretty scared, he is only 6 years old, after his mom took it off with a stick I proceeded to take a photo. the spider was almost 10cm long
