Unknown Aster

Description:

No field sample was taken to obtain ID. Was approximately 50-60 cm tall. Leaves appeared to have some pubescence on them but overall leaves felt smooth. There were several inflorescence that split off the main stem about half way up.

Suburban neighborhood

Notes:

There are many of these in the neighborhood. Will try to revisit this plant at a later time for specific ID. Plant appeared to be a common weed along the edge of a soccer park.
