Burchell's Sand Lizard

Pedioplanis burchelli

Description:

Has a flattened head and body for its life in rocky areas. Adults normally have seven faint white stripes or rows of white spots on the back and sides. The back can vary in colour from grey-brown to red-brown, usually with irregular black markings.

Habitat:

Found in a rocky creek bed in the mountains.
