Adenium sp.

Description:

Several white-pink flowers ~ 7 cm across, with red margins on the petals of a leafless plant ~ l m tall.

Habitat:

Lowland dry tropical shrubland.

Notes:

Spotted along a trail while descending from the rim of Koko Crater, an ancient tuff cone on the south coast of Oahu, to the crater floor. This is probably Adenium obesum.
