It's very unusual, interested to see a final ID.
I know there are two species in South Africa I just don't know which this is
These might not be "just" Zebra, on all tree their legs are void of strips. I don't know much about Zebra, but I do know the the strips also travel down the legs. Might be a specific species of Zebra.
