It is bright red.
I found it in Penang Malaysia it is a tropical climate. At school around the canteen growing in a flower bed.
The National flower of Malaysia it is also called Chinese hibiscus, Rose mallow, China rose and Shoe flower; .

Hi kate and welcome to Project Noah. This is a lovely hibiscus flowers. Please put "Bunga Raya" in common name and put "Hibiscus rosa-sinensis" in the scientific name. Here's the link for it too which can go into reference. Thanks.
