Big Golden Haired Ant

Description:

This ant is really big and jumps suddenly when approached. It is 1 cm long and hunts alone all over the rocks and tree trunks along the river. It seems to be very aggressive.

Habitat:

Rocks along the river of the Chorreadero Park above Chiapa de Corzo, Chiapas, Mexico.
