Description:

Spotted this little 8-10mm long slender brown lacewing of Australian origin crawling around on the side of the house at 9.52pm near the outside light hopefully it will move on to the aphid infested plants in the garden to lay its eggs.

Hi Jill. I am pretty sure this is a species of Brown Lacewing, Family Hemerobiidae. I am not sure which species are in your area, though.

Looks like a type of Brown Lacewing.
