Swamp Candles or Yellow Loosestrife

Lysimachia terrestris

Description:

Swamp Candles are very small and dainty they can grow from 8 to 20 inches. the flowers are about one-third of an inch wide and arranged in a tall slender raceme at the end of the stem. Each flower has five yellow petals which have a ring of red or purple dots at the base of each petal.
