House Sparrow

Passer domesticus

Description:

Very common sparrow. Grey crown, cheeks, chest and belly. Darker in color in rump and tail. Rusty color on the sides of the head, back of neck and wings. Black spilled from lower bill to the chest.

Habitat:

Can be found in many places. From marshes, fields, backyard feeder and any where they can get a free meal from humans

Notes:

Spotted this while tying my shoe laces. It was across from the bench I was on in the reeds by the lake.
