Local population of leopard frog, currently being described as a new species (Josiah Townsend, pers. comm.)

Habitat:

Pine-oak forest (1700 meters above sea level).

Notes:

Visit of Club BioZ to Uyuca Biological Reserve.

Esta especie se encuentran en una gran variedad de hábitats: pantanos , matorrales y bosques . Prefieren la presencia de agua con lento movimiento. Ranas leopardo se adaptan a sitios con bajas temperaturas y se pueden encontrar en las elevaciones de hasta 3.350 metros.
