Habenero and Her Calf

Megaptera novaeangliae

Description:

Rarely do we get to catch a humpback whale breeching, and very rarely do we get to see a calf and his mother in the same photograph. I was so amazed that I was able to capture this moment! Habenero flaps her flipper while her calf joyfully breeches behind her.

Notes:

Spotted on the Dolphin IX.
