Description:

Flowers are white with many rays and have yellow centers. Plant is generally 2 to 3 feet tall, blooming from mid- to late spring and throughout the summer.

Habitat:

Georgia Piedmont Located on the Indian Springs State Park Multi-Use Trail, at a high point where the ground stays fairly dry and there is almost constant sunlight. This point of the trail goes through an open area between two wooded areas. The open area contains high power lines and is fairly wide. Members of the aster family can typically be found on this portion of the trail during late spring and summer.
