Tragopogon buphthalmoides
Tragopogon buphthalmoides is a common tuberous perennial herb in Mt Hermon. During May one can find taller plants blooming in relatively lower altitudes: 1000-1700m. In June-July shorter stemmed plants are blooming in the higher areas. Here u can see the achenes wind-dispersed with their tufts.
