Callery Pear

Description:

This small to medium-sized tree is 20-50' tall with multiple ascending branches; the crown is usually longer than it is wide. The gray bark of the central trunk has shallow furrows and flat scaly ridges; it is often partially covered with lichens.

Habitat:

Callery pear, is a species of pear tree native to China and Vietnam, in the family Rosaceae. It is most commonly known for its cultivar 'Bradford', widely planted throughout the United States and increasingly regarded as an invasive species.
