Description:

These plants ranged in size from 6-8 inches. The petal-like bracts were greenish-red in color. Small, linear leaves.

Habitat:

Growing on the ground on the edge of a meadow/forest.

Notes:

When mature, the fruit of this plant explodes, which spreads the seeds up to 16 ft.
