Hi Steve. I don't think its a warbler. I believe this is likely to be a house finch which has variable color. Depending on the diet house finches can have red, orange, or yellow on their bodies. This is especially common in the Southern U.S. where this bird was spotted. Since your spotting has red on the face like a house finch normally would, and a rump patch like a house finch thats my best guess.
