Family Cerambycidae
± 5 - 7 cm - really big - hairy yellowish thorax - long reddish antenna and legs
This really big bug was sitting on a stranger's back at a restaurant right by the ocean one night. My brother saw it and told me. I was scared once this guy realizes the big insect on his back he will kill it. So I go over to his wife and calmly point out the insect and say, may I take it off? O my, she got such a shock and said yes please. A bit strange situation, but I took it with my bare hands and I thing most folks there thought me insane. I used my husbands phone to take the series, hope you can help me ID.

Thanks Maria! Fun night that was!
Great series and description of how you came to spot it (and saved it)!
Thanks Mayukh. Johan I agree, you can actually see the wings still shaping up in pic 5. It was positively HUGE!
Some Longhorn Beetle (Family Cerambycidae). I'm of the opinion that its recently molted and the elytra have not reached full color yet.
It's maybe a titan beetle.
