Small Round-Leaved Orchis

Orchis rotundifolia

Description:

Orchid Family. The small orchid is about 8 to 10 inches tall and grows in bogs, spruce forests, cold woods and places where there is peaty soil. Perfect description of the back of our camp. The flower is white with three lobes. The large white petal is spotted with purple or magenta.
