Meadow Hawk Dragonfly

Description:

This famale meadow hawk dragonfly was paired with another dragonfly when I caught it with a net. The male got away, the one I was able to keep was laying eggs in my hand while I took pictures, this is how I know it was a female.

Habitat:

Sunny, tall-grass field.
