Description:

spotted at around 9000 to 14000ft on the Andes well camoflouge with the surrounding. 16-18cm (in addition to individual variation, there is also variation between subspecies in size). Olive brown above, pale sides of head, white lores and eyering, buff-ochre below, white throat and belly.

Habitat:

natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forests
