@SukanyaDatta: This little sagüi (titi in portuguese) is named in honor of the great french naturalist Étienne Geoffroy Saint-Hilaire. Indeed, it is also known as Geoffroy's tamarin ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geoffroy%2... )

Wikipedia spells it as
Saguinus geoffroyi (no n) and I am wondering who Geoffrey was ...after whom this seems to have been named.
