This shrub or small tree has extremely dense, pink flowers covering the stems and branches in early spring. The summer brings bright green foliage on red stems. Height 8-10' with comparable spread.

Habitat:

This non-native was planted in a wildlife habitat garden for its early bloom and small fruits.
