Emerald Ash Borer

Agrilus planipennis

Description:

While I was walking back to my house, I looked down and saw an ant carrying something small. It was green with a metallic luster on its end. I realized it was an Emerald Ash Borer. It is a very small animal, but it destroys many ash trees.

Habitat:

Found in my front yard
