You're welcome Benno! It does not have to be long, and you can write in any language you wish :-) What you have done here now is perfect. Vielen Dank!
Thank you for your comments DanielePratong. I will try to write my own description. For english is not my first language this is dificult for me but I'll try.
Hi Benno! I agree with Georges Adams that these are not South American Coatis but White-nosed Coatis (Nasua narica). A kind reminder here to try not to copy information straight from Wikipedia into the Description or Habitat fields, but to write your own descriptions, as per our guidelines. Wikipedia or other sources can be referenced in the appropriates fields. This is particularly important for the Habitat field. This will increase the chance for some of your many wonderful contributions to be considered for Spotting of the Day or Spotting of the Week. Thanks for your understanding!

I'm pretty sure that those are not South American Coatis but White-nosed Coati for two main reasons. Firstly, South American Coatis aren't found in the wild in Costa Rica but White-nosed Coatis are. Secondly, from the pictures shown they look exactly like White-nosed Coatis with the White markings on their snouts, dark brown fur and lack of rings on their tails :)
