Blackwood Wattle

Acacia melanoxylon

Habitat:

Tasmania, Queensland, NSW and Victoria states of Australia.

Notes:

At Candlebark nature trail near Eildon lake, there is a fallen tree which is still alive. The branches of the tree are now grown upward giving appearance of several trees growing out of the large box tree. This looks stunning in person.
