Bug

Description:

Small black non-descript bug on the wall in the open-air building I live in.12 mm in length. Looks like a small cricket so I am thinking perhaps an immature katydid, because of the length of its antennae? This bug can fly. After I took the photos he crawled down the wall to the floor, and across the floor, about ten feet to the edge of the balcony which overlooks the first floor and flew off for parts unknown.

Habitat:

Inside an open-air building but in an area with lots of gardens and trees.
