24cm. Yellowish green plumage. Belly up to the neck but Olive Drab colored. Outer flight feathers undScwanzspitzen blue. White eye-ring. Yellow-orange iris. Heller beak. Underside of tail and wing feathers gray. Gray feet. Sex differences: None. Young animals: no orange cere springs. Brown iris.
Distribution: Mexico, Central America, West Panama; Honduras. He lives in humid to semi-arid areas on the edges of rainforests and in semi-open landscapes. He pulls in small groups of 30 or more birds around the country. He is a common bird in his homeland. Food: seeds, fruits, plants, flowers and berries. Breeding begins: May. To breed it relates termite.
