Description:

It measured between 16 and 18 cm and weighing between 21.5 and 37.5 g. A great feature of the species is the white base of the male's beak. It looks like a piece of porcelain, the glow and shape. Females and juvenile males do not. In males, the black dominates the body plumage, with reddish tones on the front.

Habitat:

Species widely distributed in the Brazilian Amazon.
