Canyon Treefrog

Hyla arenicolor

Description:

In U.S., found in NM, AZ, UT, CO, and TX. Approximately 2.1 inches.

Habitat:

Rocky juniper scrub habitat, low elevation

Notes:

Hiding in dense moist undergrowth by the side of a cliff, near clear, cold streams. Seems to be a rather pale version, maybe to match the very pale, similarly-colored rocks of this particular habitat.
