Great shot! Why does it belong in the wildlife rescue and rehab mission? Was it relocated to another habitat?
awesome capture !!
Magnificent creatures.. but huge.
Yes full grown male can weigh 1500kgs
That looks so big and powerful!
Wonderful !
It is very common to see the beautiful beasts which sometime stray into tea gardens and into towns and villages of niligiri district in tamil nadu ,south India and that place is a tourist hub....and often we come across drunken tourists harassing lone Gaurs which are separated from herds due old age or sickness....and we promptly inform the police ...and mischief makers are warned ...and animals sent back into wild.....India's tiger program in south will hit road blocks if prey population takes beating due to habitat destruction......
