Phyllium philippinicum
This is the Male Leaf Insect of the species, Phyllium philippinicum. He is around 6 cm, slender body compared to the Female but still wide body compared to other Phasmids. Males of this genus have very long antennae, that is hairy. Males also have full wings and capable of short flights like a few meters at a time. As the Females doesn't fly, they tends to stay almost all the life span on their food plant, guava trees whereas the Males may be found on other plants, as they are likely to fly around in search of Females.
