Weaver ants around 10mm in length. Very territorial and has a round nest made up of leaves built up 3 meters from the ground. ID by Mauna Kunzah

Habitat:

They are nesting up a mango tree.

Very similar to a nest of Oecophylla smaragdina I photographed.

These are probably weaver ants, though I’m not familiar with insects of the Philippines. :-)
