Eastern Hemlock

Description:

This Eastern Hemlock tall (as you can see in the photo), but not dense with branches. The pine cones are so small they look like babies yet they are full grown. The needles are relatively soft and flat.

Habitat:

Forest border by an old campground site at Westbrook Park

Notes:

Maybe we can save this one from the deadly woolly adelgid! Amanda and Kylee can tell us how.
