Description:

Long, reddish brown, salamander with dark gray skin on its stomach with very a long tail that narrows to a point at the end. It is about 2.5 inches long and about half a centimeter in weigh.

Habitat:

Usually found under rocks or in small holes, in the woods, normally by water

As Ashley has noted, yours is a red-backed salamander. This is a red salamander - Pseudotriton ruber:

If you look up what red salamanders look like, you will see yours is nothing like that. Please also correct your location.
